Hi Elv,
Bermuda looks good.
There are several ways to do Bermuda with 7 cards (i.e. 6 + illuminati).
I doubt it's possible with 6 cards though.

I think I've got it.
YES! Bermuda in 6! I really didn't think it was possible, but it is :D

I'll post that one tomorrow :D

I guess the only other candidate for 6 cards is Shangri-La.
Anyone for Shangri-La?

Finally, your Gnomes deck doesn't win, unless I'm missing something.
Remember, only 3 cards can count double - and the basic goal is 12 (first post)

Having looked at it, I just can't get Shangri-La in 6 - well, not unless you allow Kinder and Gentler on imaginary opposing players' power 6 groups ;)

But as I bragged yesterday - I cracked bermuda in 6:
Bermuda: Pow 8
New York + Big Prawn: Gov, Cri, Vio + Wei. Pow: 14
CFL-AIO: Con, Lib. Pow: 6
Libertarians (controlling NY): Fan. Pow: 7
Church of Middle America: Con, Pea, Str. Pow: 3
10 alignments. Power 8+14+3+6+7=38

I also managed a version that doesn't rely on the vulnerable Big Prawn:
Bermuda in 6, version 2
Bermuda
New York + Necronomicon
CFL-AIO
Dobbstown Fan, Wei. Pow 3 + 2 for controlling CoMA
Church of Middle America
Power 8+14+6+3+2+3=36

Finally, my "big surprise" Bavaria.
Unfortunately, I had missed that Manuel Noriega only has 1 control arrow, so I had to swap in a big group, making it somwhat less impressive.
Ross Perot (2) controls Manuel Noriega (1) and New York (7)
Manuel controls Dittoheads (1+2) and Day Care Centers (1)
With Bavaria, that's 10+2+1+7+1+2+1=24

Now add Law and Order and Gun Control
All 5 groups are straight conservative, so Law and Order adds + 15
4 of the 5 groups are Violent criminal government, so Gun Control adds 16!

Grand total: 55! :)
