It's not that SJG abuses us on the shipping (and I'm not saying you meant that). It's that the shipping companies abuse everyone on the shipping. I especially feel sorry for the non-US backers.

No no (fnord) no, I meant no such thing! And likewise...international shipping has gotten patently absurd the last few years.

I meant entirely that I sorely, sorely underestimated how much space it takes up when rolled....figuring they'd send me a 2x24 poster tube and raised an eyebrow accordingly at how much the carrier wanted to get it here.

When a box showed up on my office's package rack, the shipping cost made a lot more sense.

Thank you. And yeah, shipping playmats is never fun. I've ordered several online; it's always pricey.

I had some inkling of what shipping might cost. That's why I snapped them up cash on the barrelhead right after the announcement at Fnordcon.
