The memories of dreams tend to fade very quickly, for some reason. Writing stuff down the moment you wake up is a big help, because even five or ten minutes later it seems like half of it (or more) is gone (with some exceptions.)

Smooth skinned trees with a film of glue that they sweat to catch insects. They're planted around a kind of ceremonial space to reduce the number of insects bothering the participants as they get naked for their ceremonies.

A cafe where the customers look like the Qunari from Dragon Age. However they don't have the Qunari society. Instead they have a human underclass who they refer to as "robots" and aren't quite slaves but are definitely second class citizens
