Default 3D printing buildings for Ogre Miniatures

I finally broke down and bought a 3D printer. I’ve been downloading 3D objects from Thingiverse and scaling them for Ogre...

Very cool!

Can you get a shot with some minis for comparison?

The Ender 3 is down to $200!? Looks like I'm finally jumping on the 3D printing bandwagon.

I have no idea why that's significant, but you being excited about it has me curious. Spare a clue for the clueless?

The Ender-3 is a solid printer for home use. It’s not incredibly fast, but it is easy to use and very affordable.

That is a properly huge 'Will be a laser tower once you hit the bits box'.

That is reasonably priced, even when it's not on sale...last I was shopping (granted, it was 12-18 months ago), I was having a hard time finding 4"-5" beds for that price, let alone 8.5".

Ah, but Warning Will Robinson! The price drop is made possible by using cheaper components that are fire hazards: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yDp9frWkcg

Not sure if they've fixed this yet or not.

Watching the video, I'm left wondering if the company got taken for a ride by a supplier that was trying to pass off cheap knock-offs [look at those mold detail issues] for the real deal. If so, hopefully they'll be buying direct from here out...
