Yes, in DF they are. This is a thread about what DF titles would you like to see. So thinking about it in a DF context is pretty much as expected on this thread :)

DF Dream Lands. Adventuring in the strange land of dreams. I wonder how many Hit Points Freddy has?

DF: Banestorm - Essentially a sourcebook on how to adapt the world of Yrth into a dungeon fantasy setting:
-The role of dungeon delvers among the nations of Ytarria
-Adapting the Cleric, Holy Warrior and Druid "classes" to work with Yrth's rules of Magic
-Adding DF3's new races to Ytarria (Possibly from the Djinn lands?)
-New Adventuring "classes" unique to Yrth
-Dungeons of Ytarria
-Monsters unique to Yrth

So, which do you think is better. One big Otherkin book, or sets of smaller books. The smaller books might have titles like Fantasy Folk 1: Elves and Sylvan Folk or Fantasy Folk 5: Mertribes. Each smaller book would cove a limited group of Fantasy Folk with enough cultural detail to spice up gameplay.

None of the above. I don't want SJ Games defining the races in my game world, which is for what the details are. It would be better to have the enemy races as full monster write-ups, with maybe a lair. Differently armed and specialized orcs, for example.

That would be a pretty good Pyramid article, actually. Like a lot of these things, I'm not sure it would make a full PDF on its own.
