Default [Spaceships] Scaling Ships Up and Stability Rating

In volumn 1 of Spaceships on p9 (Scaling Up Spacecraft), it says that the progression is natural. Is a stability rating of 5 the maximum though as it seems?

I guess another way to look at this question is "Are there stability ratitings >5?" and I found in the core rules that there is a precident for this... exactly one. A TL 6 Tramp Seamer (p464) has a SR of 6 so I'm giving all starships of SM+16 or greater a SR of 6 for this reason. Anyone have any concerns about that houserule?

EDIT: I'm increasing the SM list to SM 21 (ships that are ~4 miles long)

Sounds reasonable to me. Something the size of a small moon will be hard to roll. @:-)
