I wanted to do something with lightsabers. I like the bright, flashy lights.

This was just done in Hero Forge, but this is a spoiler/teaser for my Season Three of Infinite Weirdos.

For our Infinite Weirdos game, I created a map based on the mansion from the Clue movie. Is that wrong?

How about using the game board as a map?

(Back in the day, we invented some RPG-style rules to use with Clue, adding additional victory conditions of you were the last character left alive -- especially important if you figured out you were actually the killer. Rules including not being able to attack someone where there were witnesses -- unless you were willing to kill them all -- which made the standard rule that you call other characters to your location when making an accusation extra suspenseful.)

Isn't that just Kill Dr. Lucky?

I feel like a real bonehead now. I hadn't worked with ghost dynamics before, because I figured there'd be a huge learning curve.

Nope, turns out it's fairly simple. Add a smoothing modifier to a mesh, select a collision object and boom: her butt is flat like it's on the floor. Which it sorta is, as it's colliding with the reflector plane that is giving that HDRI floor depth.

May be. I wasn't familiar with that one. Also, it was around 40+ years ago when we hacked those rules, and BGG tells me Kill Dr. Lucky is from 1997 :)

Less hunting down a particular target in our old mod, though. None of the players are sure whether they're the killer (as in regular Clue, it's possible but not likely), so there's no reason to start out with a bloodbath -- possible strategy though that is. Also no one target a la Dr. Lucky. Mr. Boddy's already dead at the start. Once you deduce you're the killer (or are just nihilistic), all the other characters are your enemies. And no one is entirely safe if someone's in a gambling mood, and just mostly sure that you're the killer. Or decides that you're the one that was mysteriously knocking off those other players and they don't want to be next.

Still, a pretty similar concept, though.

Local group many years ago at a Baltimore game con ran the Murphy's Rules idea of The Fungi from Candyland. Had a blown up Candyland map and made monsters from gumdrops, marshmallows etc. with a you kill it you can eat it rule. Was fun.

More a snapshot of goings on in the multiverse, but I thought it was funny.

The moment of confusion after a rail-thin adolescent girl wearing impossible "armor" with some sort of giant key as a weapon, deflects your lightsaber and most powerful darkside abilities, when you realize the awful truth:
Disney. OWNS. You.

Yesterday night, the following punchline popped into my head, full-formed and with no explanation. I think...I think it was for this very picture.

"You expected mercy from the Mouse? It's called Dis-NAY, not Dis-Yea."

Sidenote: Enjoying this series of art.
