Hi Charles,
I wrote the Inept Adept Fanzine which was exclusively my own material. I later turned it into a magazine which people could submit TFT articles and renamed it Goblin's Keep.

So I'm the one you should be talking to.

Warm regards, Rick.

Rick, I've never seen those 'Zines. Is there any possibility some of the material could end up in the Companion?

Hi Chris,
I have no objection to the stuff I wrote being in the Companion. You would have to ask the other authors for permission to use their stuff.

Warm regards, Rick.

We would need to have copies of the zines, review the content, and then contact copyright owners to make that possible.

If someone has physical copies of the zines for sale, please contact me: phil@sjgames.com We would like to get a look at the contents.

Starting this issue, I turned the magazine into an APA (Amateur Press Association). This means it is several magazines in one. My own Inept Adept continued, while other people submitted their own material. The success of the idea was also its downfall, people sent me hundreds of pages of stuff, their complete expanded spell list. Their complete rewritten rules, etc. (I was making no money on all this, so I would have to print and mail these giant tomes on my own.) The APA only survived two issues.

People were also encouraged to write "Letters of Comment" (LoC), which discussed other people's contributions. I consider this issue to be Goblin Keep #1, but there was some discussion as to what it should be called, so I ended up calling this issue, the Great Unammed TFT APA.

GOBLIN KEEP #1.

Welcome to TFT's APA: Editorial

Letter: Ron Pehr

TFT Beastiary, by Ron Pehr.

Inept Adept #3, by Rick Smith
Superscripts in TFT

Parrying in TFT
-- Weapon Breaking during Parries.

Rules for Farming in TFT: Economics of Agricultural Societies in TFT

Rolling to Miss by Steve Perrot

Howard Trump's Magazine: by Howard Trump
In the Thoraz' Service: Past Times. // A programmed Time Travel adventure.
-- Glossary for above adventure.

End of Magazine:
-- Note on Talent's Expansion
-- Describing Corequisites and Prerequisites
-- Table of Contents.

This magazine also had included a letter sized counter sheet and all of my Talents for TFT.

Warm regards, Rick.
