Sets with the most unique mechanics!

I already own basic munchkin, dungeons,mounts and munchkin cthulhu(cultists!)

game changers is being shipped because all of the new mechanics it adds (dark,necronomicon, fairy etc)


other sets i have in mind is apocalypse because of the seal mechanic

munchkin cheating with both hands and munchkin half horse will travel(because of the lizard race that likes helping monsters!) and the elder etc titles


any other i have missed that adds new win conditions or new interesting mechanics or just evil things to do to your opponent

races or classes with very special abilities work too

i also really like punishing big or small monsters with unique effects (like cthulhu)

As you mentioned, Cthulhu and Apocalypse offer some great mechanics and winning conditions, but Star Munchkin is another great choice. There are some interesting Race and Class abilities (Mutant and Veggie are two of my favorites). It makes use of the Hireling mechanic (with Sidekicks) and the boosters and expansions introduce Ships (similar to Steeds). Best of all is the Laser mechanic, where an unlimited number of weapons with "aser" in the name can be combined into a larger 2-handed weapon. You can rack up amazing bonuses, plus it's tons of fun to attack your friends with a Laser Taser Bananafanafofaser!

thanks for the star munchkin suggestion! i checked it the laser mechanic is indeed fun but it seems too powerful to me, unless there arent many lasers

the races were mostly just okay though, not very interesting mechanics
