wounds and healing
RAW say that PCs regain hits at the rate of one hit per two days of rest, assuming the Character has access to water, food and sleep.
Is this the rule we still want? I vote yes, althought in my CGs at a certain point I increased the heal rate to one hit per THREE days of rest, at least when the PC was badly injured (GM's call, but basically when the PC suffers more hits than half of all ST points in total ). |

Re: wounds and healing
One thing about "wounds" is; are they actually wounds and are all wounds equal?
As an example; the ST16 Battleaxe wielded can still swing his axe with full effect at ST4 after taking several "wounds." He only suffers a detriment when his ST reaches 3. So does that mean that every blow before reaching ST3 is just bumps and bruises or fatigue? Possibly, in which case they should be easy to recover from. However, once ST reaches 3 or less, there is a penalty and perhaps that should be the point at which you are truly "wounded" and need extended time to recover. |

Re: wounds and healing
Quote:
WOUNDS When a hit triggers a "reaction to injury", the attacker names the wound (appropriately) with a phrase and it stays on the victim's sheet until the wound is fully healed. Once each combat until the wound is healed, one enemy can take advantage of the wound for a +1 DX or +1 damage (their option). Any time a situation comes up in play outside of combat where an injury would hinder a character (based on the name of the injury), the character gets -1 if a roll is involved or, if no roll is involved, must make a 3/ST or 3/DX saving throw as appropriate in order to avoid an ill effect.
