Re: Giant Killer martial arts style
Sorry for sounding a little confusing. My previous post was about the "titan" race featured in the manga Attack on Titan, like this post. "X-meter" means height.

Roughly converting meters to yards, and assuming humanlike proportions for the 15-meter titan, it probably stands about 5 hexes wide and 2 hexes across.

Re: Giant Killer martial arts style
Various tech-appropriate artillery skills are the most realistic starting point for SM differences of 3+.
Heavy personal weapons if and only if they have a reasonable chance of doing significant damage. If you're ST is 3 and your SM is -3 a SM -3 great sword ... isn't that great. However, an elephant gun is a perfectly reasonable weapon against King Kong. Enhanced/acrobatic dodge, since parry will often fail and shields will be rapidly broken. Extra basic speed ditto and because you'll need the mobility. Second teamwork and traps. For cinematic fun, consider jumping, climbing and giant parkour. Vs. Giants that have low DR or even low DR weak spots, horse archery is probably a great style. The mongols would have slaughtered SM+3 human-ish infantry with only a little more effort than they took on the SM 0 infantry. |
