Default Some vehicles.

So I (with a little help from an acquaintance who doesn't have an account here) wrote up a bunch of vehicles in GURPS form.

These weren't made with a design system, just based on real-world data. There were a few things which I couldn't find good sources of information for, so there is a little bit of educated guesswork on things like range and price for a few of the vehicles. I used the GURPS Vehicles 2nd Ed. rules to work out a few details, like the DR of the submarines, takeoff runs for several of the planes, etc.

It's still a work-in-progress but I thought it was extensive enough that it might prove helpful and I could use some feedback on what people think...

Wow! Thank you very much, this is excellent. I've just taken a glimpse so far but what I've seen is perfect. And it looks like a hell of a lot of work.

Cheers

Wow that's enourmous. Just my first thought.

EDIT: I need an index/table of contents. The book mark system is helpful but in the end the collection is overwhelming. Its a nice collection, but navigating it is hard.

V cool

Only thing I noticed is an omission, modern tractors have hydraulic linkages as well as a PTO. Not particularly important but I spent a good portion of last week rebuilding said linkage so I noticed :)

That's a great work, a real gift for Gurps community.

Nice resource.

The attack helicopter prices seem off though.

Unfortunately, adding an index before I've finished writing the content would mean I had to re-do the index every time I updated it. There might be a way to get it to do so automatically in Libre Office, but I don't really know it well enough.

An alternative approach might be to split the document into smaller volumes and actually finish a section, index it properly and then move on to the next. It goes against my general style of haphazardly jumping on whatever interests me at the time, but is probably a better strategy overall.

Thank you; spotting errors like that is really difficult to do in a document you've read too many times.

I think I just typed 'K' instead of 'M'. I'll re-check.

Ahh... One is coming and it needs to be the last step... that makes sense.

You're still making more then? this is impressive.

Very nice. Just one suggestion: change many it's to its. Remember, it's always means "it is."
