Default Vanished into Legend, one-shots, and monster enhancers

Alright I have some questions and I'll try the best to describe scenarios. I think I'm posting in the right forum. My apologies if I'm not.

(1) Vanished into legend (Munchkin Legends), does this card immediately end the combat? The card only states to discard all monsters and draw treasures immediately. The card doesn't specifically state that combat is over. Is it legal for me to immediately play a wondering monster card with a monster after the "vanished into legend" card is played?

(2) Most potions (one-shot treasures) state "+x amount to either side." I read it as to play this as a buff on an individual monster of my choice that is in combat or to play it as a buff on an individual munchkin of my choice that is in combat. Am I correct on this?

(3) If I am correct on Question 2 does a monster enhancer behave like a one-shot treasure that does "+x to either side"? Minus the fact that it is not an item and can only be played from the hand.

TIA for clarification.

Vanished Into Legend ends the combat.

"Usable once only" combat bonuses add to the side, not to specific monsters or munchkins.

Monster enhancers are played on specific monsters, not on the side.

Steve Jackson designed Munchkin, though Andrew did do card design with Steve on Munchkin Legends. He has a few expansions and boosters under his belt, too. We're so proud of him!

It wasn't deleted; I moved it to a new thread.

And, I'm guessing I answered it this morning.

I'm going to guess further at what happened and say the following: We prefer that any followup questions be in response to a response to the original question(s), not new questions. In general, we prefer one question per thread, with a descriptive title (helps with searching). We ask that people do this for the benefit of all, so that tangents don't develop inside of a thread (causing confusion), and so that people searching for an answer to an already asked question can find it quickly, without having to delve pages deep into a thread. If Andrew moved your question to a new thread, it's because it was a new question, and not a followup to his earlier answers.

I missed that it was about the same card, so that's my bad -- I probably should have just left it alone.
