Don't feel bad. I have heard nothing about my shipment either. This process takes serious time; we will all get there!

134th Battalion represent. With shipping resuming 8/14, I'm hoping for a box the first half of next week. That'd give them 3 business days with a box going out tomorrow, which is about right for MI to PA.

Edit: "The 134th" is something started by CON-Troll in the KS comments to put a positive spin on the perfect storm that hit Battlefields delivery.

A dubious distinction, but might as well make the most of the situation. :-)

Is this intended to be some sort of cosplay group like those Star Wars people? Not that there's anything wrong with cosplay.

Nope. I just think that the "134 people awaiting delivery" will enter OGRE lore as the 134th Battalion.

Hmm. Now I suppose I will need to write an OGRE scenario around that...

You can keep the battalion I just want what I paid for, and by the way still no tracking number no battlefields and no estimated delivery date.

The fulfillment warehouse has the materials and are doing the work. As has been noted many times, the tracking info is a manual process. Darryll can ONLY enter the information when it is sent to us by the fulfillment warehouse.

The warehouse is:

* In another state.
* A completely separate company.
* Outside of our control.

We are not Amazon. We do not ship packages as fast as Amazon.

The team is doing their best.

That's my thought. There is literally nothing I can do to make it get here faster, and after a week or so of "I haven't heard anything, did FedEx lose it? Is it too soon to be asking where it is?" now know what's going on, so I may as well laugh with (not at) the situation.

If nothing else, maybe it'll work out like Masonic rings and be an instant icebreaker at conventions.

I suppose you will. Ogrezine III is a much easier sell for Drew if he's got material to present, after all. ;)

I've already run a few thoughts through my mind for short stories, legends, slogans, or at least the way other units would speak about the in-canon 134th...but Phil sounds pretty close to breaking from the stress, so I've been keeping them to myself for the time being in order to not add "He says it's in good faith, but that seems really pointed..." jumping-at-shadows to the list of things he's fretting about.

(Edited because I didn't like the previous wording...it sounded too accusatory, like SJG was keeping us in the dark on purpose...and I know that's not something they'd ever do)
