Default Bundle of Holding

Heads up . . .

For the rare few of you that don't have many of the classic Car Wars books and supplements, you can get the lot in the latest Bundle of Holding dedicated to Car Wars.

Check it out!

... how is (re?)selling SJG ebooks (at a discount) an okay thing?

I understood that BOH deals are done with the approval of the publisher / copyright holder.

WOW! That's a bargain for sure! I bought my copies on e23 and paid more than that for sure. :-)

I recommend this for anyone still looking for the PDF's!

Because the publishers specifically authorize it. When you buy these part of the price is donated to the EFF. When I bought the Pathfinder bundle, it set up a link directly to the Paizo.com website. I'm guessing the Car Wars bundle will likewise send you to W23.

Car Wars Arenas seems like a weird thing to buy a pdf of.

It is a bit of a throw-in, though (at least in the US) it's relatively easy to find a print shop that can print them for you for cheap. If you were going to have them all printed at standard size then you'd be much better off buying a physical copy.

Compared to other Bundles I've seen I'd say this isn't the greatest, but it's decent enough if you don't own any of the component files.

Playing games online is becoming more and more of a thing. If nothing else, the cat can't run across the arena and knock DeathSedan 9000 out of range of your flamethrower.

It's useful if one is building a 3D version of one of the arenas therein; that way, one does not have to fear trashing one's original.
