Default Spellcasting with Wait maneuver

There are any ways to cast spells with Wait maneuver (beside attacking with Missile/Melee spells)?

Spells require a Concentrate maneuver, and the Wait only converts into Attack or All-Out Attack. So no, under the standard magic system, you can't cast on a wait.

Sorcery has sdifferent rules. Some Sorcery spells are Innate Attacks, and can be used with a Wait.

By a strict reading of RPM, conditional spells (including charms and potions) require a Ready action, and can't be used on a Wait.

I have never read through Ritual Path Magic, but you can convert Wait maneouvres into Ready maneouvres. B366, 'Ready' is the last of the listed maneouvres.

You're right. That's what I get for not double-checking the rules.

Okay, with RPM, you can cast conditional spells (including charms) with a Ready maneuver after a Wait. So the solution to GWJ's question is to use RPM.

By RAW no.

Allowing Concentrate and Wait, possibly as a style perk, isn't a bad idea though.

By RAW you can probably get away with it with Computerized Mind

Compartmentalized Mind? No I don't see how. You get two mental maneuvers on your turn, not during someone else's turn.

If you mean Digital Mind, I don't see how it is relevant at all.

No Compartmentalized to cast the spell then using your normal maneuver as a Wait to hold it for your trigger.

Compartmentalized Mind doesn't give two mental maneuvers, it give you your normal maneuver plus and extra mental maneuver to be using in parallel or in serial as you wish. I see nothing wrong with it being using a combination, as you're still paying your full turn concentration maneuver price with CM, and sacrificing your normal maneuver to put as conditional delay on it.

How I had the spelling of maneuver I never get it right typing it out raw

Spells (except for Blocking spells) go off at the end of your turn. There is no option to delay them to another turn.

You could do this with Delay (or maybe Link?; not sure and don't have Magic here) but then you could just set the condition for the spell as your trigger, and not muck around with Wait maneuvers at all.
