risaešla means "giant lizard" If you want lizard-man, it's ešlamašr (lizard man) or ešlamašur. Lizard-people or lizard-folk is ešlufolk.

Indexes will be more important than usual in these books, especially for those of us with poor memories or no list of alt codes handy. A tiny little box in the glossary or an appendix of used codes might be helpful as well.

... Unless we can find a miniature, I am not letting you play one in my next campaign. And even if we do find a miniature, there's a better than 50% chance I'mma not gonna let you do it, buddy!

Re: Dungeon Dinosaurs
I saw your video and at the end it discusses dinosaurs in your setting. You say dinosaurs fit in a Norse-ish adventure because they are awesome. They may be awesome but having a brontosaurus wandering around in a Viking adventure could also be thought of as being absurd instead of awesome. I guess it is just a matter of taste. For me what I thought was awesome in the Hall of Judgement was the nordalfar having the fairy veil. They can remain hidden from normal people just like in the stories of fairies yet they are not completely invisable and thus super powerful. The nordalfar are not super powerful either yet they still seem a lot more fairy like than the AD&D orcs and goblins.

Re: Dungeon Dinosaurs
Brontosaurus is a bit of an absurd dinosaur, though. It makes everything goofy (until it steps on you, then it gets really serious).
Something like Spinosaurus (or Dimetrodon, which isn't a dinosaur but is still awesome) and things in the spinosaur family, or the big running pre-crocodiles (yes, big crocodiles that ran - again, not dinosaurs, but I feel they can be admitted anyways) make for fantastic dragons.
