Default Modern motorbike armour stats?

Bike leathers (or modern cloth equivalents) are only DR1, but what about the helmets?

And the armoured sections - elbows, knees, etc. where plastic or carbon fibre inserts boost the protection? And what about armour plate inserts for chest and back?

I'm building a modern motorbike paramedic character. Having seen so many results of bike crashes, he's not going to skimp on his own protection. And when the world goes wrong (don't know yet - alien invasion? zombie apocalypse? Day of the Triffids?) that's what he has for fighting armour.
Good-quality bike jackets have armour reinforcement along the forearms (as well as shoulders, outer thighs, etc.), which will help with his karate parries. Even the thinner sections (DR1) will be good against zombie teeth. But the stronger plates will give very serious protection to the vitals, and the helmet protects pretty much everything with some level of armour - even the visor will stop some attacks, like a triffid sting.

I didn't see one in High-Tech (surprisingly).

The current US DOT standard drops a 3kg pointed striker* from 3m on the helmet (twice); it's not allowed to penetrate. So maybe someone can turn that energy into a damage number and thus into the DR of the helmet.

High tech page 70 for the Motorcycle Helmet.

Page 67 has the stats for Football Shoulder Pads. Those could be extrapolated on to get "Mad Max" Style Improvized Armor or the Motocross Armor used in the Van Damn film "Cyborg".

Thanks - don't know how I missed them. There's even a picture of the helmet beside the table!

I think the Riot Gear limb armour (also p.67/8) is a better model for the hard pads.

Current motorcycle suits definitely should have split armor value. The strategically placed things like the back support give more bonus vs crashes than the base suit material would give alone.

That being said even the base DR is likely more than 1. My guess would be something like perhaps DR 2-3 for the suit depending on the type and maybe double that vs crash type damage.
