Default DFRPG Brigandine

Seems the cost and weight of the Leg location for Brigandine is off. Seems the DR 4 version of Brigandine was used.

EDIT: On second glance ALL the leg armors are off. Or is it my imagination?

EDIT: This all obviously in comparison to Low-Tech, so Management may have decided to change a few things

Submitting errata to the forums is only slightly less pointless than shouting in the wilderness. You should send it to errata@sjgames.com.

I was just checking to see if I had missed something somewhere.

The sheens sublocation from Low-Tech is split equally between feet and legs in DFRPG. Delvers protect their feet with high boots.

The DFRPG uses the same "suit" cost and weight as GURPS Low-Tech but makes different assumptions about how it's all distributed:
  • DFRPG "Head" (25%) = GURPS Low-Tech "Skull" (20%) + back of "Face" (5%)

When the "Full Face" option is added, the helmet acquires what GURPS Low-Tech, p. 112 calls nasal, brim, cheek guards with ear protection, and spectacles, which add 5%, 15%, 15%, and 5% – a total of 40% – to helmet cost and weight.

  • DFRPG "Body" (105%) = GURPS Low-Tech "Torso" (100%) + "Neck" (5%)
  • DFRPG "Arms" (50%) = GURPS Low-Tech "Arms" (50%)
  • DFRPG "Hands" (10%) = GURPS Low-Tech "Hands" (10%)
  • DFRPG "Legs" (75%) = GURPS Low-Tech "Thighs" (45%) + "Knees" (5%) + upper half of "Shins" (25%)
  • DFRPG "Feet" (35%) = GURPS Low-Tech "Feet" (10%) + lower half of "Shins" (25%)
It all adds up, modulo some round-off error. The main difference is in how the legs and feet are defined. But p. 108 of Adventurers is very clear on what each bit covers.
