Default State of the RPG industry in your country

Native RPG industry, that is.

The Swedish RPG market seems pretty healthy. One of the major players, Eon, asked for 4 000 Euros to publish the 4th edition of their rules and setting. In 1½ months, they got together 68 724 Euros. Someone is willing to pay for RPG rules.

The largest player, meanwhile, is going all digital. RiotMinds are putting up a net-based service that gives you access to rules and settings on your pad, pod or whatever you happen to be using. Apparently there's a lot of teething troubles, but they will no doubt be removed. (Their setting is very interesting, based on Swedish folktales, and is available in English. But you have to buy the rules first.)

A third association is releasing a sci-fi RPG called Mutant År Noll (Mutant Year Zero), a reworking of a classic Swedish roleplaying game from the 1980s.

So, yeah, there's a lot going on.
