Best way to hold down terrain overlays?
Did this forum ever reach a consensus on what is the best way to "paste" down terrain overlays without leaving stains or doing damage to the counters or the mapboard?
Rubber cement, poster stickum, what? (Both of those can stain, but maybe not if only applied for a few hours and not weeks!) Thanks, Bowser

Re: Best way to hold down terrain overlays?
I 2nd the suggestion for poster-tac. It's cheap, easy to apply little bits quickly (you literally just tear a tiny crumb of the stuff off the bar) and I haven't seen a staining on my boards.
For those of you willing to go the distance, you could seal your boards with a non-reflective clear laminate of some sort (I'd recommend adhesive laminating sheets, but you have to be very careful to apply it perfectly flat to avoid any folds/lines/air-bubbles.) Then you'd never have to worry about staining.

I third the poster-tac suggestion.

Re: Best way to hold down terrain overlays?
I went out and bought a couple of lexan sheets and had them cut to various sizes so once the board is down I just put them over it. I do agree with the poster tac for away from home games. Though about cutting up some clinger material in the overlay shapes but the lexan took less effort.
