Fall of the Malakim (?) available
Link to e23 for "new" In Nomine product
I figured I'd pre-empt anyone making a better post. :-) (Mods: If someone DOES make a better post, feel free to delete this thread. Think of this as a placeholder.) |

Re: Fall of the Malakim (?) available
Excellent! For those not familiar with FotM, this chapter of the Revelations Cycle includes:
* "Extended" versions of David and Lilith (both of which have been expanded further since). * Detailed rules for handling Geases. * A collection of the Bright Lilim resonances for the 13 major Archangels. * A description of the places and faces of IN's Los Angeles, city of demons. * Two adventures, one set at the premiere of the latest high-dollar low-content sci-fi blockbuster, while the other is the titular Fall of the Malakim in which Heaven and Hell have to work out whether the unthinkable has just happened to Heaven's purest Choir, as the armageddon clock begins to tick ... Enough talking! Why haven't you bought this yet? :)

Re: Fall of the Malakim (?) available
Grrrr... just a few weeks after I went out and ordered the original - still, it's always nicer to leaf through the book....
Hoping for the Final Trumpet ebook... P.S.: I've never been to LA, but I really got the impression that whoever wrote the description of it for FotM, they really didn't like the place ^^ And also, they left out an important quote (paraphrased): "The view from LA of the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean is dazzlingly beautiful - so beautiful, in fact, that no one with any sensibility would dream of building a city like Los Angeles in front of it" - Douglas Adams (and to be fair, his comments on New York were far less friendly) |

Re: Fall of the Malakim (?) available
Wait--is this simply a pdf of TFT, or has content been added?

Re: Fall of the Malakim (?) available
The funny thing is, whenever I've discussed IN with Californians in general or Angelenos in particular and mention the whole "San Fran belongs to Heaven; LA belongs to Hell" bit, they invariably consider it a moment, nod and say "Sounds about right."

The 131-page count hints it's a PDF of the original 128-page book, with front and back covers and a one-page errata-and-e23-ad sheet filling the other three pages. But I'll have to buy a copy to be sure, and payday is next week...

Re: Fall of the Malakim (?) available
I think they've been incorporating the errata with the Classics. But no, don't expect new content. They're simply making rare products available for a wider audience.

Yes, somehow I have yet to hear of someone from LA who liked the place. The best I heard was from someone who visited it once and he said "yeah, it's not so bad. And if you wear the right colours, the gangs don't even shoot at you..." Which reminds me of another point - what with all the turf wars in LA, how come Baal and Michael aren't around? Too small-time for them? |
