Re: What kind of counters/figures do you want to see for TFT?
Interesting. So far, the voting seems to be "keep doing what you've always done" sort of... Flat counters (an even split on monochromatic or multi-colored) and a lot of people think some Cardboard Heroes (probably more like DFRPG, rather than the originals in terms of how they are made -- though no one can top Dennis Loubet's art for those original CHs!) would be a nice-to-have too. Seems like Steve Jackson Games knew their market all along! ;-)

Re: What kind of counters/figures do you want to see for TFT?
I don’t know that stacking is much of a problem with the new hex size. Besides, even if the figures don’t fit, just put them next to each other. It’s not a game that is so complex that keeping track of a whether a couple of figures are in the same hex of not can’t be kept track of. As for facing a dot on the front of base solves that problem.
Now, the chits are great for transporting. Drop the Melee box in your backpack and fight in break room at work during lunch. Certainly a conversation starter! |

Re: What kind of counters/figures do you want to see for TFT?
I voted for Retro-Style Full-Color Flat Counters, but honestly all of those options are good except the miniatures. And the miniatures would be good too — IF I had the Time & Patience to paint them (which I could), and the Money to afford them (which I do not).

I 100% agree with Firehorse on this -- I feel exactly the same. I have always loved the IDEA of minis, but totally lack the time, patience, skill, storage space (I was in the military for 20 years too, which definitely forces you to cut back on "stuff"), and money to support a good mini habit. Still, I LOVE seeing what other people have been doing with them!

Re: What kind of counters/figures do you want to see for TFT?
Very true. I basically never paint anything. So, if they made their own miniature line it would only be appealing if it came pre-painted or looked decent as-is.

doublesided standups, preference for in acrylic, and 20mm scale.
I know that that would never sell, tho'. 15mm vinyl minis, like the older Micro-Machines figures for Star Wars. |

Re: What kind of counters/figures do you want to see for TFT?
While I would like 15mm minis for their ease of storage and transport, the flip side is that there isn't much third-party support for them anymore. I can only think of a couple companies that still make 15mm non-historical pieces. 25, 28, or 32mm have very strong support still.

After further consideration, I want to change my vote to 12" Action Figures — but only if they come with Kung Fu Grip.
