Default Lame Supervillain Names And What They Could Be Named Instead

Dawn of DNA: Doctor DNA.

(Doctor DNA was a body snatching alien who planned to hand out medication that would reprogram humanity at the genetic level to be his emotionless slaves)

Alternate Suggestion: Doctor Jericho

Bad News For Doctor Drugs: Doctor Drugs

(Doctor Drugs was a superannuated hippie in the 80s who sold more conventional drugs to finance his research and development of drugs that would unlock people's latent potential for super power expression.)

Alternate Suggestion: The Mighty Quinn. Candy Man. Nirvana. Heck...anything except Doctor Drugs.

Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Alternate suggestions: Brotherhood of Mutants; Mutant Liberation Front; Mutant Anti-Defamation League; National Mutant Association; Brotherhood of Good Mutants; Brotherhood of Righteous Mutants. ANYTHING other than Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Why "Jericho"? For a Bible reference to captivity, I'd have picked Babylon or Pharaoh. Or maybe "Doctor Cytosine" or "Effexor", though that one would probably get you sued.

Jericho isn't a reference to captivity. It's a reference to bypassing defences or making them collapse.

Which is probably why there was once a Teen Titan named Jericho who had the power of possession.

When I ran a campaign that used that trope I called the group in question the Homo Superior Liberation Front.

Yeah...on second thought I've got a better idea. Call him
Doctor (or perhaps Professor) Genesis. It's particularly good because V&V's iconic villain was Doctor Apocalypse.

Good ol' Willingham. Doctor A. was a pretty tough customer. Appearance-wise, he changed a lot when he morphed into Lord Saker for the Elementals comics, but the attitude and threat presented were pretty similar, as I recall.

What would be good replacements for the old Marvel teams "Masters of Evil" and "Emissaries of Evil"?

Let's face it, "$Anything of Evil" is a pretty lame team name. Not many folks see themselves as "Evil" unless you're dealing with Dungeon Fantasy supernatural capital-E Evil.

.
These might stay. the groups were made up of dedicated, professional super-villains who chose to dress in flashy constumes without misguided Mutant Liberation fanatics. Then you add some commitment to style "and "Masters of Evil!" might win out over "The League of Super-Criminals".

You could try for something a little more like the name of some biker gang but a utilitarian name on the order f "Sinaloa Cartel". wouldn't cut it.
