100 Crushing Damage
1000 DR with no modifiers
10 DR Flexible Armor

By wearing the 10 DR flexible armor, you would take 2 HP Injury where not wearing it you would take 0.

PK says to subtract the 1000 DR first and THEN the 10 DR but that means this text is wrong:

Quote:
Subtract this from
the damage done by any physical or
energy attack after the DR of artificial
armor (you can normally wear armor
over natural DR) but before multiplying the injury for damage type.
Which says AFTER the flexible armor suit is subtracted.

I get that it doesn't stop injury, but it is a strange effect of the text written in DR. I would handle it PK's suggested way, but that is still opposite of what is written.
