Default Are Gator and Rhino Bothers?

I know that cards are still being worked on, but I was working on a spreadsheet of the Spoiled Cards (Kickstarter Graphics, Facebook Posts, Daily Illuminator, Rulebook, etc) and I noticed something odd.

In the Uncle Al's packs there used to be a Driver named Gator, now there is a Driver named Rhino. Same Stats, Text, and Art. Art is Green, definitely leans more to the Gator side of things color wise. SO, I am gonna say that Rhino's Older Brother Gator has gone missing and Rhino has followed him into the seedy underworld of Car Wars to try to find out what happened.

OR maybe it's just a Copy/Pasta error?

Curiously, in Miniatures Set 2 there is a Slug Weapon called a Rhino.

All of the card images shown are very, very early and not final.

I know.

Which probably explains why the Light/Medium/Heavy Machine Gun Incendiary Rounds all have the same dice profile (except the Heavy has 1 less die).

I was just working on a spreadsheet to get a feel for the Types and Sub-Types of the cards. It has also given me a little look into the evolution of the cards.

MGs will be very similar. It will be in the rules text where you may see the biggest changes between MG differences.

Philip,
I understand that the difference in Ammo (standard vs incendiary) would be mostly in game text. But it would seem that the difference between Size would be reflected in different dice profiles.

I'm not sure why there are completely different cards for MGs with specialty ammo. It would seem easier to me to mount an MG and add a card that says "Incendiary Rounds - MG" and gives Incendiary rules. Then you would only need 4 cards, 3 for the MG sizes and 1 for the ammo instead of 6. BUT I'm not a game designer so there may be an aspect I'm not seeing.

I greatly appreciate the role-playing infusion.

We looked at that and rejected it after digging deeper. Sticking to a single card kept the math easier for many to follow and reduces the chance of an accidental "oh, that combo is bothersome" situation in the future.

Thank you for that insight into the design.
