I guess if you wanted to play League of Gentlemen Infinite Worlds Edition you could get Alternate present/Distopian Future characters like Snake Plisskin, Mad Max, Rick Deckard, and others together.

Hmmm...how about five field agents and a leader:

-- Indiana Jones (leader and all-around 20th century expertise)
-- The Big Show (WWE wrestler, field agent, muscle)
-- Lara Croft ("Tomb Raider," field agent, all around troubleshooter)
-- Buffy Summers ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," field agent, occult knowledge)
-- Neo (from "The Matrix," field agent, computer intrusion)
-- Snake Plissken (field agent, weapons and counterinsurgency)

Could probably replace Lara or Snake with a good vehicle driver/rigger/mechanic, but none come to mind right now. If we're going with a martial artist in one of the above slots, my vote's for Kato (Bruce Lee) or Black Mask (Jet Li).

Following up my own post: Maybe replace The Big Show with John Henry for the muscle. Then you also get some minority representation.

I would use B.A. Baracus...I pity the fool who doesn't use B.A.

I'm glad someone mentioned Sergeant Bosco "B.A." Baracus!

I'd like to cast a vote for the greatest cat burglur of all time...

Eddie "the Hawk" Hawkins.

Oh yeah, and Leonard Shelby.

But Star Wars took place "a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away". All we'd need to have Han Solo in the League is for him never to have been rescued from that block of carbonite. Eventually the block drifts to earth and Han is thawed out. Thus putting him in the League does not require time travel.

I just thought of someone new to add to our growing roster of potencial Leaguers.

SweetPea Oil - The gentle Giant haunted by his past. He'll never forget that day 40 years ago when the brute Bluto and Popeye, the man Sweetpea though of as his Father, finaly ended their lifelong feud in final combat over the cooling corpse of Olive.
For years Sweet traveled the world trying to live up to his surgot father's example, working for the Merchant Marines during Korea and Veitnam, and becoming an expert long shores man. Training his body to be the strongest it can be.
But still his past haunts him everytime he looks in the mirror, the face of his Biological father looking back, the face of the man who murdered his mother in a jealous rage.
Sweet's reputation as an expert seaman and suppurb fighter make him a prime candidate when the US Goverment coming looking for League members.

Colonel Steve Austin, USAF Retired (Lee Majors -- The Six Million Dollar Man): Team Leader

Getting a bit long in the tooth, and his bionics don't give him quite the edge that they used to, but he is still probably the best choice for team leader. I considered Buckaroo Banzai (Peter Weller -- The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai across the 8th Dimension), but he is simply too much of a celebrity to be available for the mission.

Dade "Zero Cool" Murphy (Jonny Lee Miller -- Hackers): Computer Overwatch. A sharp kid and computer genius who was the instrumental in stopping an environmental disaster.

Nicholas Knight (Geraint Wyn Davies -- Forever Knight): Supernatural Muscle (Vampire)

Mark Harris (Patrick Duffy -- Man from Atlantis): Perfect for tasks that require underwater activity.

Chief Casey Ryback, USN Retired (Steven Seagal -- Under Siege): Ex-Navy Seal, martial arts expert, and master chef.

Simon Templar (Roger Moore -- The Saint) would probably prove to be unavailable. However, if contacted he might consider accepting a mission.

Did you notice how the Hellboy movie practically lifted the character wholesale. (Oh, sure, they added "creature from the black lagoon" makeup... but still.)
