Default PC Races of Middle Earth

I'm going to try to collect PC Middle Earth races here. I'll post each race in it's individual post for ease of reference. Please comment, criticize, etc. Or if you have templates, feel free to add.

One of my guiding principals is parsimony. It's really easy to let these get out of control point-wise, but I want to keep them all relatively affordable.

I'm going to keep an eye toward the late third age and the early fourth age, so no true Numenorians. I'm also not considering Wizards to be playable. If you have or want to take a crack at them, though, don't let me stop you.

Also, I am going to use a house rule that Extended Lifespan is only 1 point per level and Unaging is only 5. This, I feel, better reflects the actual game utility of the advantages.

Men [Varies]

I think The various Men don't need their own template, but a few traits need to be called out.

Numenorian Heritage [5] (special unusual background)
Generally requires Apperance: attractive or higher.
Allows Extended Lifespan.
Allows various magical powers. (by GM agreement.)
Will allow some magical items and plot-related things to work.

Half-Elven [5] (special unusual background)
Requires distinctive feature quirk.
Requires Extended Lifespan or Unaging.
Allows various magical powers. (by GM agreement.)
Will allow some magical items and plot-related things to work.

Wose Eyes [-1] (special case of distinctive feature)

Other human variations seem to be mostly cultural in nature and therefore can be handled as differences in common traits.

My old MERP book also has Umli as half-dwarves, but I can't think of a canonical example, so I don't feel obligated to stat them out. So... I think that's it. Please rip them apart.

Woses are the primitive men in the wild parts of Eastern Rohan and/or Northern Gondor. It's a little vague. They showed up briefly in LOTR when Theoden bargained for passage and agreed to make his people stop hunting them.

They have black-in-black eyes. According to the ICE supplements, the iris glows faintly red when they are angry.

Hobbits mature later and live longer than modern Humans. They are probably good for a level (or half-level if you go in for those) of Extended Lifespan.

You have Dwarves starting to age at about 200, and dying by 300 or so. In The Hobbit Thorin & co. often mutter "if I were a century younger", which to me implies that they are active adults for many centuries, not just one or two.
