Assuming the original monster you were in combat with is neither an Undead monster nor the Floating Nose, the result would be the same as the original example.

You are forced to flee. Original monster chases you (unless something else says he doesn't) so you must roll to run away. Shadow Nose has been defeated, but as you didn't win the overall combat you claim no rewards.

Potion of Halitosis doesn't kill a Nose if the Nose wanders out after the potion is played. You have to play the potion with the intent to kill the Nose to get that effect. This is an official clarification.

So, do I understand right, that I can play in combat with Nose Potion of Halitosis on munchkins' side without intent to kill Nose to give munchkins +2?

Yes, although mathematically you'd be better off just killing it.
