Using Magic lamp after the successful Run Away
Can I use the Magic Lamp after the successful Run Away?
My intention for not using it in the combat against one monster is to prevent other players from playing Wandering Monster after I summoned the Jinni. Instead I wanted to initiate Run Away and then grab the treasures by using ML. The card itself does not require to use it during a combat but on the other hand there is no monster near me after the successful roll. |

Re: Using Magic lamp after the successful Run Away
The Magic Lamp may be used after a failed Run Away attempt, and gives you the Monster's Treasure as long as it was the only Monster being faced. You can not use it after a successful Run Away attempt to take the Monster's Treasure. In fact, if you wanted the Monster's Treasure (assuming it was the only Monster you were facing), you should have used it before trying to Run Away (also a legal play, no matter how many Monsters you are facing).
And, please don't answer if you don't know the full details of the card, or don't have it in front of you. Answers like, "I don't know the card details, but it may be this, or it may be that, or it may be something else," aren't very helpful. |
