In Nomine Anime, BESM Edition?

In the past, I have stated my belief that the Big Eyes, Small Mouth (i.e., Tri-Stat) game engine would be a good fit for In Nomine, and lamented the fact that it's a defunct game engine with an unclear rights situation and little to no prospects of returning.

Well, it turns out that I was wrong about the fate of BESM. As I write this, a Kickstarter for BESM 4e is in its final 20 hours. It has long since surpassed its finding minimum by a factor of five; and barring massive incompetence in the past of the developers, it is going to happen.

So I know that this is a long shot; but what would it take to produce an “In Nomine Anime, BESM Edition” or a “Big Wings, Fiery Halo” product that presents the In Nomine setting using the BESM game engine, but incorporating an anime twist?

Unlike the existing INA, which is geared entirely toward introducing anime concepts to the reader and showing how they can be applied to the In Nomine setting, this book would rely primarily on BESM to supply the anime primer and would instead focus on introducing the setting to BESM fans and providing BESM mechanics for everything.

Thoughts?

No special thoughts about In Nomine, but I'm glad that you mentioned the kickstarter; I admire BESM a lot as a game system and I just had time to sign on. Thanks!
