Re: Loren Wiseman has passed away. RIP.
I never met him personally, but he was one of the people encouraged me to keep writing when I wasn't sure if I wanted to. He was a good man. He'll be missed by the gaming community. :-(

Re: Loren Wiseman has passed away. RIP.
I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I communicated with him a few times (including through this forum). He was a nice guy and a good game designer, and his work meant something to me. I'm sorry that he's gone.

Re: Loren Wiseman has passed away. RIP.
This is very sad. Loren was a very cool person to talk to even if it was just over the internet.

Re: Loren Wiseman has passed away. RIP.
My condolences to all who knew him, whether in person, on-line, or only through his work. I fall into the middle category, and I mourn his death.
My only paid writing (so far) was in JTAS, so he was in a sense my boss for the space of one issue. |

Re: Loren Wiseman has passed away. RIP.
A very sad day. I, too, never actually met Mr. Wiseman, but through his works, and a few emails, I felt I knew something of him. The Traveller community, in fact just the creative community overall, lost one of the greats.

This is a loss because he was smart, fair and a great writer.
