Default DX Adjustments vs. Turn Order for Missile Spells

As far as I can see, there is no explicit statement concerning Missile Spells and how they relate to this rule: "The DX adjustments for missile and thrown weapon distance are not considered when determining which figure attacks first." Would you agree that this statement should be interpreted to include missile spells?

This may not warrant a thread of its own, but this is only my second post and I haven't found a thread to stick this question onto. Still new here.

Yes that statement includes missile spells too.
