Are you confusing Unfazable with Indomitable? Unfazeable is immunity to Fright Checks, and the only influence skill it works against is Intimidate. Convincing an AI that it's in error doesn't probably generally involve threatening it.

Hm. I misread something. However, NAIs have both, so it doesn't matter.

I don't think that convincing someone that they made a mistake is an Influence roll. You aren't manipulating them to do something they wouldn't do otherwise. Why can't you just roll Computer Programming, or Mathematics (Formal Logic), or even just the skill the AI failed at?

I'm not sure what you mean they're not huge cliffs. Slave Mentality is such a huge cliff that it offers a big discount on minions, on CP costs of a character, and is the whole reason for many people to pick LAIs as assistants.
Probably wasn't clear, but I was talking in terms of what I think is realistic, not the details of GURPS mechanics.

Uh, do you mean that you don't see it realistic for NAIs to have Slave Mentality?

No, that I see it as realistic for some NAIs to have more flexibility than that text allows.

Depends on the nature of the mistake. Something involving judging the intent of an action may require Influence.
