I got most of this from looking at tigers on page 456 of campaigns.
While I would like to play him I don't have my heart set on him and could come up with something else.

However, about your Quirk: is it supposed to make you immune to starvation-based Fatigue until the end of the third day you go without food? Because I'm getting that impression.

thats the right idea for a tiger. I don't know if its worth that much: he's eating twice as much in total, but can go for a while. Please note thats food only: he still needs water.

My gut says no, but I'll bite. The problem so far seems to be that my first choice at a character template ... is negative. I suppose I'll just have to add more modifications!

does a negative racial package count against disadvantages? I kind of want to flesh the little guy out ...

I want to be a tek-rat historian intensely interested in ancient warfare! of course, given the skill list, he will only know the theory. And he probably knows the great works and literature better than the history, unless that part of the skill list changes.

As long as I got 18 meals worth of food three days before hand, yes. I recall reading some where about sleep that you could have a race that was up for like two months straight so long as they then had to sleep a month straight afterwards as a 0 point feature because it kept the same ratio of wake to sleep as a normal gurps human. IE 2 to 1, 16 hours up then 8 asleep. I was figuring the same thing would apply to eating, and fits with what I know of tiger eating habits. Which is admittedly not much. We can also have him starting off at the end of this three day period so that he'll start starving along with normaler people with the added bonus that he needs to find 18 times as much food to sate his hunger. Although I think I'd rule if he got a partial meal that'd hold starvation off at bay but he'd be grumpy and grumbling about being hungry. I should probably reread starvation rules.

Or for simplicities sake we can do away with it.

Edit: And as Eric pointed out I'd still need twice as much water as a normal person daily.

Neo-Selkie-TekRat: 20 - 42 -42 +1 (duplicate disad)= 21 (for when you need to do underwater welding from inside the pipes)

TekRat -42
Selkie 57-15 = 42 (no combat reflexes)
Neo IQ +1 20 (upgrading those tek-rats to IQ 10 )

Is this race approved?

things that may be questionable:

diesase resistant +3
Doesn't Breath (oxygen Storage)

Neither are completely proof, and It does have increased consumption ....

I may add either sonar or vibration sense, depending on if the -42 counts as a disadvantage ...
I'm also considering adding some stuff to make him a better climber.

Also post 4 seems to be a duplicate of post 3 so you may want to delete it all together. That or delete post 3.

Racial templates aren't part of the -50 point character cap Eric, I've already asked and had that question answered in posts 11, my asking, and 12, his answering.

The following will be the first draft of Kilrathi. He is not the talker I was originally envisioning but I think he is pretty ordinary as far as uplifted tigers in the 38th century go. As always feed back and critiques welcome.

Having regular access to a computer and the internet again, as well as some free time, I am interested.

Not entirely sure what to play, as most skills, advantages, and equipment from ultra-tech aren't won't be useful. I probably won't come up with a good reason to have many of Kromm's essential Adventurer skills.

I'm thinking either a modified Pandora or some multispecies chimera.

Two questions: Are we allowed perks from Power Ups: Perks, and can we take immunities with temporary disads? i.e. Doesn't sleep (Temporary disad: really crazy) would mean that the character could go without sleep by suffering the effects of the temporary disadvantage instead.

Look at the bottom right of the post carefully. Click on the Edit Button, from there bottom right again and there will be a delete button. Press that and it will expand, bottom left this time and click on delete message and then bottom right you can press Delete this message and presto, it's deleted.
