Equipping items when it's not your turn
During our last game, a player threw the Curse!Clerical Error on himself when it was not his turn. He killed the monster and got some treasures, some of which were items. Could he put them in play and equip them at that point or should he wait for his turn?

Re: Equipping items when it's not your turn
You are allowed to put items into play as soon as you receive them.
You are allowed to equip items, that are in play, anytime you are not in combat, whether it is your turn or not. Therefore, to answer your direct question, your player could immediately equip those items, or wait until his turn. |

Re: Equipping items when it's not your turn
The rules for Items say that you can put them in play after you receive them, so, yes, he can put those Items in play even if it isn't his turn. However, if that Curse is played during a combat, then the Monster would be added to the current combat.

Re: Equipping items when it's not your turn
To be clear: you CANNOT put permanent Items into play during combat, even if you have just received them. One-shots, of course, can be played from your hand or from the table during combat if it is otherwise legal to play them.
