Re: List Of your favorite Custom Perks
Intuitive Imbuer (Cinematic, Imbuement Perk, Must specialize)
Prerequisite: Imbuement Skill at 16+ You're su adept at using your Imbuement Skills that it's second nature to you, as long as you don't try something tricky. You can perform an Imbuement Skill without needing to roll to activate it, but you always get just the base effect, and can not avoid paying FP. You must specialize by Imbuement Skill. This is basically no nuisance rolls, but for a combat related task. The goal here is to reduce the number of rolls for using Imbuement Skills. The Imbuement Perk is present to allow for the DF Mystic Knight template to pick it as part of it's Power-up Last edited by Kuroshima; 11-24-2009 at 08:11 AM. |

Safety Glass: When you jump through a glass window or other sheet of fragile material you take no damage. If you collide with armoured glass or anything too tough for you to smash through, you still take crushing damage as normal. This does not protect you from glass weapons.
The God-damn Batsman: If you parry a thrown weapon, you may immediately make an attack roll as if you had thrown it, using your parry score as your effective skill. |

Re: List Of your favorite Custom Perks
I was thinking about asking for level 25, but the idea here is to reduce rolls on the table, and nyone with that skill level will wish to capitalize it taking penalties to the Imbuement Skill, and possily taking the -5 to avoid spending FP. The perk negates this possibility

Google-Fu: You have an intuitive knack for getting good, specific results out of search engines. When using the Internet for Research rolls, you take half the normal time.

Internice: You always make a good impression on the Internet; possibly better than in face-to-face communication. Take a +1 to Diplomacy skill or its default if the discussion is being conducted entirely through e-mail, chat, forum posts or the like. Any "live" communication (including phones and webcams) negates the bonus and may require a re-roll of previous successes at the GM's discretion.
Pre-Internet, this Perk could be described as Man of Letters. ;)

The Camera Subtracts 10 Years: In a filmed performance, you can convincely portray someone 10 years younger than yourself. (Note that most of the cast of Beverly Hills 90210 did not have this Perk!) This does not apply for live appearances or stage productions.

Re: List Of your favorite Custom Perks
May I suggest Camera Young as a more compact perk name? Does anyone have this IRL? I bet a lot of people in the adult industry wish they had, and a lot of women in general, but can anyone think of anyone?
And while we're at it add Camera Thin, Camera Cute. Related, but unrelated to this thread would be the quirks Camera Fat, Camera Ugly. |
