I'm here for the plastics and the neoprenes. I certainly like the way these have been going!

Hmm, piles of Mk.Is and IIs... :3

Of the existing units, the one I'm feeling short of (proportionally) is GEVs. During a future plastics KS, if you could swing an additional sprue of PE GEVs that would be sweet to get them up to strength for scenarios like Breakthrough. And/or when you run Combine plastics, just start them with 12 GEVs per force please.

To date, I've been scrounging up other figures to use for specialist infantry types. Since you've gone 'heroic 6mm' and made the infantry 9mm to top of helmet, there aren't really good matches from other lines, but a few old Epic figures work close enough. Getting some matching specialist infantries would be very nice with distinctive poses and equipment that stand out visually on the table: Marines, Engineers, and Heavy Infantry.

A month or so ago, Phil had dropped a hint on Facebook that I might not want to cut up my extra copy of M3 for overlays just yet. I have heeded that word of wisdom, and certainly hope that neoprene overlays will be coming this year.

Drew, a month or so ago I sent you an email with some very rough sketches of some mat ideas to fill in the 'lakes country' tiling of the current mats. Something along those lines would be nice for bringing more tactical variety to the wonderful world of mats.

I know that neoprene mats with larger hexes would be prohibitively expensive. Would you consider licensing maps to established game mat producers? My absolute favorite mat company is Cigar Box Mats. They are high quality printing, a low pile fleece that does not wrinkle (!). One of their 6' x 4' Plus mats with a 3" hex grid would be stunning for a reproduction of the orange Ogre map. I have a growing collection of their mats for use with a variety of games, and highly recommend them: http://cigarboxbattlestore.bigcartel.com/

  • Another big-box expansion - At the very least, to get maps G2 and S2 into the hands of Sixth Edition players. Plus, the 6E folks need stuff like cruise missile crawlers.
I second every word of this. :)

From the DI post, "Would brand new, mounted G4 and S4 maps be of interest to anyone?" Given that I'm the one that put that bug in Steve's ear...pretty sure my vote on that one is a resounding "YES!"

Seriously though, it's been an honor to be part of Ogre's revivification these last two years...everything from spending too much money, to kibitzing with the community, to being selected as an author for 'Zine II. I wish I had a larger network of contacts, and/or more time to write, and/or even just more money to throw at it, to do more for the game...but hopefully that ameliorates over time. And hopefully my bright idea for the 2020 convention season comes to pass...
