Default Old edition and schizophrenia

I'm a using munchkin cthulhu + blender + several other sets and I'm hit by the madness schizophrenia.

I've "old edition" in my hand ---> may I use it on the schizophrenia CLASS and turn it in a schizophrenia RACE in order to use new classes avoiding the madness effect on my classes?

many thanks to you all!

Well, Old Edition allows you to play a class as a race, or a race as a class.
Madness! Schizophrenia is like a Curse, not a class or a race, so I would not think it could be affected by Old Edition.
