So, after skimming the new FAQ... I realized the Gnome sounds to be a completely different card now. My regular nights are starting to require a second table running... now before I order online (cause NO where locally has the new colorful sets)... I need to decide if it is actually worth it to switch to color because both tables NEED to be running the same rules.
I am curious about the EXACT wording on the new Gnome card??? |

Download the new "Munchkin Thingies" file, which has that wording in it.
I posted about that file recently, and technically I'm still on vacation, so I won't hunt down the URL -- look at threads from, say, mid-June and you'll find it immediately.

I said "technically." It was an excuse for laziness. ;-)

I hate asking this after the cards recently came off the presses but I am a little bit confused of the intend of the Gnome's power-up:
You get +1 for any non-one-shot Item beginning with the letters G or N. I am not sure if it was meant to be: You get +1 per any non-one-shot Item beginning with the letters G or N you're holding. OR: You get +1 if holding any non-one-shot Item beginning with the letters G or N. Please clairify..?? (Pretty please.) |

+1 for each.

From the thingies file, it simply says Quote:
But in this case, it says YOU (the player), rather than the item. It does not specify the state of the items... or even that they need to belong to you! As written, I'd say it's a +1 to player for every G and N item they have in play (themselves only), which has 2 effects. One is that they get +1s from carried stuff, which is significant. The other is that the items don't get boosted, which can affect things like "Lose your item with the highest bonus"

The Gnome card is already too text-heavy. Please just accept that the rule is intended the way we've explained it and move on.

I have a quick question in regards to the illusion power. The text says that you add a monsters level to yours as a one shot. There are a few monsters that only allow you to fight with your level only does the player get the bonus from illusion? Thanks again...
