This deserves to be prefaced by: "Good news, everyone!" Hehe.
I am so ecstatic to see that my old favorite, The Fantasy Trip, is finally back home where it belongs. From one Steve (me in real life) to another, my sincerest congratulations to Mr. Jackson, and a hearty, "Welcome aboard, matey!" to Mr. McLimore! Hurrah and huzzah! |

Welcome, Guy! In the big picture, it was just a short break in between two stints as TFT line editor. 35 years? Like going out for a pack of cigarettes...

Thanks, one and all. Yes it does feel like Old Home Week to some extent, though I hope there’s a difference between the raw recruit I was trying to walk in boots way too big for me and the veteran I’ve become. There’s a lot more miles on my armor, now, for one thing.
There is one feeling that has not changed at all. I am still so giddy about my good fortune at being able to help guide the progress of a wonderful game. I told Steve when I accepted the job that I look on it as a chance to make up for the missed opportunities when Metagaming folded. It will be even better doing so side-by-side with TFT’s creator. I’ll be hanging around in the TFT forum. (Indeed, I already have been, trying to listen more than speak.) come say hello and help me make TFT all that it can become. Better late than never.

It just seems so fitting in so many ways. Everything old is new again. Congrats, Guy!
[Added edit: If you guys keep this up, it'll start getting called "The Nostalgia Trip"]. Last edited by Mack_JB; 07-07-2018 at 10:06 AM. |

Golf Clap
Grailquest was my favorite Microquest and really showed the possibilities of the programmed adventure format. Last edited by tbeard1999; 07-07-2018 at 10:53 PM. |
