[Basic] Warp Penalties and Enhancements/Limitations
Salutations!
I have some difficulties understanding the correlations between certain Enhancements/Limitations and IQ penalties. First, teleporting to a spot one has visited but cannot see. The RAW only mention an "additional" -2 for such a destination, but on top of what? The most severe penalty for remote viewing, for a total of -6? Second, if so, teleporting to a completely unknown and unseen destination with the Blind Enhancement is (slightly) easier than teleporting to a familiar but (currently) unseen place. It is an Enhancement, of course, but it stilll doesn't seem quite right that just a set of coordinates should be easier than "home, sweet home". Is there something I'm missing or misunderstanding? Third, if one has the Anchored Limitation, does that cancel out the penalty for not being able to see the destination, because it is fixed anyway (and how often would you teleport to the only spot in the whole world you can teleport to when you can already see it right over there), or does one still have to roll at -6 (if that is even the correct modifier) for blind Warping plus the Distance penalty? Considering that this Limitation is explicitly incompatible with the Blind Enhancement, I'd say the penalty does not apply, but I'd still like confirmation from the hive mind (or even Word of God). Fourth, how much would multiple anchors reduce the discount of the Anchored Limitation? My guess would be "divide by number of anchors; more than 10 anchors don't count as a limitation." |

The "additional" -2 penalty is in addition to range.
