they actually _are_ fully geomorphic, by your definition. Remember, the half-maps are just that; half of a full map. When used in their original design configuration, all N/S edges and E/W edges match up.

It's not fair to compare the middle map borders of the half maps; they are only half maps because of how they were produced.

It is too a fair call after you've survived a group game of Ogre Tetris.

The important point is that for starting a new map series now, the new mats should be fully geomorphic with each other. We can cope with rounded corners being a little weird.

Dang it, Phil! I'm getting a raise early next month. "Neat," I think, "I can use an extra 30 bucks a month."

Then I see this thing in my Kickstarter update. Gaaahhh!

Fine, just take the money...

I'd be okay if they're not geomorphic. I see Cat's points, but I'd rather get an interesting variety of maps rather than have forced connections.

How thick is the map, specifically?

Can it roll up?

This is great we are getting a new map, but at the same time it's adding a new additional type of map that is not really compatible with the existing substantial selection of chipboard maps. The map heights are different and that's going to look kind of bad on the tabletop when using both side by side.

Now, if we are also getting this in chipboard as an option, I'm all for it as it will fully compliment the already existing chipboard maps. Stretch Goal perhaps? If so, I'm in.

I would rather have compatible chipboard maps than a different type that can roll up (as nice as that is) that is not really compatible with the chipboard maps. That is, the heights not being the same and the rounded corners of the new maps.
