Translations?
New here, sorry if this has been asked before, but are there any English translations of the original French game? I've read it's got some flavor differences. And isn't there a futuristic take on it as well?

Re: Translations?
None that I ever heard of. It's all available online for free these days (legally), including the Stella Inquisitorus supplement, but only in French. It was available a while ago anyway, but I don't know if I still have my copies, I just lost a bunch of my files. Anyway, they're all in French.

Re: Translations?
Too bad for me, then. I'll look to see if they're still available and then buy a French dictionary I guess! :) (I need the Song of Tongues, eh?)

Re: Translations?
One of the search-engine translators might be helpful enough; I hear that the INS/MV uses a lot of French slang, though, so it might take a lot of dictionary-grinding. (I have a friend who reads French...) Interestingly enough, some of the Superior descriptions from the main book are pretty close, if the words I can decipher are any indication. Haagenti's, in particular, jumps to mind.
The original Khalid writeup, from Final Trumpet, was also a near-identical translation, if I recall correctly.

Re: Translations?
Thanks! Maybe I can grab one of my players and get him to take French classes. These guys'll do anything for a beer! (~jk!)

Re: Translations?
Well, I do know French myself, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered getting copies. Let me know if you're having troubles with any particular bits.

Re: Translations?
My French is painfully rusty, but I could give you the gist of any book if you really felt the need. No surprise, I'm slogging through the Baron Samedi book for my own enjoyment.
