combat question floating nose/potion of halitosis
I have a quick question about the order of combat rounds
Player A is level 9, kicks in the door, and gets a class card, so decides to go looking for trouble - and shows floating nose, then plays potion of halitosis to kill it instantly, thereby going up a level and winning the game. However, Player B wants to add a wandering monster into the fray, is that possible or has the opportunity passed with the death of the floating nose? |

Re: combat question floating nose/potion of halitosis
I would see this the same way that a wizard's charm ability can be sabotaged.
If a monster is charmed, then there is the standard 2.6 seconds after that point to have a monster thrown into the combat in some manner (e.g. Wandering monster, dog pile, naughty.) I would suggest that in the case of an instant kill like the floating nose/potion of halitosis, or krampus/nice, that their is the 2.6 seconds to have some one throw in a monster. My only trepidation on this is that the word kill also seems to imply, to me, that the combat has ended if there are no other monsters involved, where as a charm spell is defeating a monster. |

Even though you instantly kill a monster your opponents still have time to wander in more.
