Default A few Rick and Morty questions

Hi everyone,

Fan and player for the last six months (a co-worker got the whole company hooked with Legends) and proud owner of Rick and Morty an Steampunk for the last two. Here are some questions that occurred so far:

Blim Blam: what happens if I already have enough to beat him without picking a helper, as in other rules/FAQs it is stated that a true Munchkin would never ask for help in that kind of situation (like having another player "helping" Cleric so he can take a face up treasure from a discard pile)? Do I still have to pick a helper and give him treasures for nothing?
Distress Beacon - suffer the effects of the two topmost traps: do I get to choose which one to resolve first (i.e. if there are Birdperson's wedding and How did I get here), or I resolve the topmost first and second topmost after or vice versa?
Alternate-self and Duplicate Monster: if I play Monster Enhancer/One-shot after I already played one of these, do they affect both entities or just the original one?
Alternate-self: the other day a friend caught us off guard and wanted to use Songwriter's ability to double the Alternate-self bonus as it is one-shot, and after the amazement was gone, we allowed her to get the desired bonus. Is that legal move?

Thanks in advance,

You must pick a helper because that's what the card says. Remember that specific rules on cards supersede the general game rules.

It doesn't say, so you get to pick the order.

Both of them.

Yup.
