Decks of Destiny Boxes
Hey all.
Got the Decks of Destiny storage boxes today. While all the other cards fit vertically, the wizard/monster cards store flat. Is this right? Just seems weird as if I got it wrong. Also got the melee and wizard red and blue boxes. What goes in those? Thanks all. |

That is correct that the large cards store flat; you have it right. Someone on the TFT Discord group suggested adhering a ribbon to the bottom of the box, to place underneth the cards. You would pull the ribbon to lift out the cards easily.

Those are handy for players to store a character or two. The small record sheets, the option cards, and other player-focused accessories (like the character journal) all fit in the box.

Re: Decks of Destiny Boxes
As noted above, you are correct about the wizard/monster box. I didn't get it at first either, until I realized that if that box had the preferred orientation (cards standing up on edge) then the big DoD box would have to be another inch taller and everything else would rattle around in it. At first I dealt with this by having a piece of card stock folded like a little accordion between sections, but then I have taken to simply dumping all of them out and putting them back in on edge when I want to riffle through to find a particular card. This works pretty well. Also, I re-ordered my monster cards alphabetically because I couldn't find anything when they were left in their 'setting/type' order that that they come in.
The big flat 'tuck' boxes are handy for storing the thin paper character sheets that you've filled out (and perhaps other things). By the way, are we able to buy an extra set of these boxes through w23 or backerkit add-ons? I now have so many of my own paper 'fighter' and 'wizard' cards filled in with NPCs that I would rather have then in the appropriately sized boxes instead of floating around loose in a 'tuck box'. |
