[Py64] Amalgamation Engines
How do they work exactly? Does it come with a space for the mage or does it require a separate cabin/control room? How much attention the mage must dedicate to it, does it require constant chanting for the entire length of the operation or can the mage also pilot the ship?

I happen to have 3/64 and when I look in it for soemwhere that soemthing called an "Amalgamation Engine" might eb hiding I find it on p.31 inb an article by christopher Rice ("Time to Sail the Skies!"). I have never used ths mateiral but answering absed on general sapceships principles.... Powering the engine would be a full time job. You'd need multiple mages to operate more than one shift. Three times as many as the "Mages" stat says to go 24/7. The engine would have wharever sort of "workstation" the task requires but the mage(s) would require separate quarters for long-term occupancy. Piloting the ship is a full-time job too but doing oth jobs might be possible with Multitasking penalties.
