Okay, I'm happy with the sheet I've been working on for an upcoming GURPS Martial Arts con demo, so I figured I should share it. It's nothing special -- just a hack of the normal charactersheet.gcs. Basically, since I won't be using languages or CFs, I added the ability to turn them off to make room for more skills and techniques. I also added the ability to sacrifice Ranged Weapon space in favor of Hand Weapon space. And (as mentioned in another thread), an option to get rid of Bite.

Find this "Skillful Character Sheet", and all my GCA files, here:

I`m using skillful character sheet and I love it. Great work!

Could you add a space for character portrait?

Is it possible to use a character sheet template for export? I really like the Phoenix character sheet, and would like to be able to export my character to HTML using this template.

Unfortunately, no. Most print sheets, as opposed to export sheets, use drawing and positioning elements that really are incompatible with any kind of text export and will, generally, only yield a garbled mess if used for text export.

Then, does anyone have an export filter, that is a little more graphical then the straight text one that comes with GCA?

Would a PDF version be acceptable? You can download (FREE!) drivers for Windows that let you "print" to a PDF file instead of to a printer device.

CutePDF is one that gets mentioned here regularly.

From PDF you can produce postscript files and probably all kinds of other stuff - how reliable a PDF-to-HTML translation would be, I dunno. They're sometimes pretty hairy about layout.

I hadn't thought about that. I can open the file directly into Firefox, so that does work.

Thanks,

Britt

Well, Eric has already written part of that data file, and made it available for download separately, as he's said in this thread. There's been no precise announcement of when the next official data update will be available that I know of (there never is, in advance, in my experience), but we've been told its supposed to be soon.
