Default Different body type hit locations

Is there a 4th edition source book that has hit locations for things like "tailed humanoid" or "merfolk"(which are two different body types -- tailed humanoids have both tails and legs)?

Also, for things that are pretty much homogenous, such as an air elemental, is there an official description of that body type? Best I could come up with is "Cloud", bu that doesn't feel entirely right, since some of these beings have a specific form, but just don't differentiate damage from where they are hit.

Basic Set (Campaigns) pp. 552-555 and Template Toolkit 2 p. 10.

Regarding Body Morphology, Sam has hit the nail on the head.

As for this second property you're refering, check out Injury Tolerance: Homogenous, and also Diffuse on B60.
